More prayers for change and moving

Leaving a place I love

I'm driving away from the street where my children learned to ride bikes. Every year we had here was a gift, God, and I thank you for them. Hold the friends I'm leaving, and go ahead of us to the next place.

A new country

Father, the language is slow on my tongue and the food is strange. Let me find one neighbor who is patient with my mistakes, and help me hold my old home with love and my new one with an open hand.

When I just need things to change

I'm tired of waiting for something to be different, Lord. Show me the first step I can take today. Change what I can't, change me where I need it, and keep me from burning down what is good.
