“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail.
When they had gone through the region of Phrygia and Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia. When they had come opposite Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit didn’t allow them.
Yahweh will fulfill that which concerns me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

God, this isn't the life I planned. I had a clear picture, and you closed the door on it. Paul had plans too, and your Spirit stopped him more than once, then opened a door he hadn't imagined.
I'm disappointed, and I'm telling you honestly. Help me grieve the plan I lost without losing trust in you. You will fulfill your purpose for me.
Show me the next faithful step on the road you chose. In Jesus' name, Amen.
