Wanting my faith to grow deeper
For when belief feels hard to hold onto.
Also for grow my faith · deeper relationship with god · spiritual growth · want to know god better · strengthen my faith · spiritual maturity · hungry for god · deepen my walk with god · hungry for scripture
So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Lord, I don’t want a faith that only shows up in a crisis, I want roots that go deep enough to hold steady no matter what. Give me a hunger for your word and the discipline to actually open it, not out of obligation but out of desire to know you better. Grow me slowly and steadily like a tree planted by water.
Let my faith be something real enough to lean my whole weight on when the harder days come. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
