I never feel like I'm enough
For when you can't see yourself the way God sees you.
Also for not enough · not good enough · inadequate · worthless · low self esteem · never measure up · feel like a failure · insecure · self doubt · not worthy · feel small · imposter
He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them.
But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

A prayer

Father, there is a voice in me that keeps a running score, and I am always behind. Not smart enough, not kind enough, not doing enough. You never asked me to earn my place with you.
You loved me before I had done a single thing right, and you still call me by name. Help me hear your voice louder than that score today. Where I really am weak, be strong in me, and let that be enough for both of us.
