Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
“Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

Lord, this breakup hurts more than I expected, and I don't know what to do with all these leftover feelings. Help me grieve honestly instead of pretending I'm fine. Heal the parts of my heart that got attached and now feel torn.
I don't want to rush into numbing this, or rushing into someone new just to avoid the ache. Show me who I am outside of this relationship, and remind me that my worth was never tied to being chosen by another person. Walk with me through the healing.
