Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ,

Lord, I care about this person, but I'm not sure if this relationship is leading somewhere healthy or somewhere I shouldn't go. Give me eyes to see clearly, past the excitement and past my own wishful thinking. Show me what's real underneath the feelings, the character, the consistency, the way we treat each other when things are hard.
I don't want to force something that isn't yours, and I don't want to walk away from something that is. Give me the courage to follow whatever you make clear. In Jesus' name, Amen.
