Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer.
Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God, and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to the assembly day by day those who were being saved.

God sets the lonely in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land.

Lord, walking into a new church is hard. I sit near the back, I don't know the songs, and I leave before anyone can ask my name. I want more than a service to attend.
I want a family to belong to. Lead me to a church that teaches your word faithfully and loves people well. Give me the patience to stay long enough to be known, and the humility to serve before I'm served.
