God sets the lonely in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land.

Lord, I can be in a room full of people and still feel completely alone, like no one actually sees the real me. That kind of lonely is confusing and hard to explain to anyone. You call me friend, not just acquaintance, you know me fully and you are not going anywhere.
Help me find at least one person I can be honest with. And on the days I can’t, let your nearness be enough to carry me through. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
