Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”
I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
I laid myself down and slept. I awakened; for Yahweh sustains me. I will not be afraid of tens of thousands of people who have set themselves against me on every side.
In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety.

Lord, I feel unsafe right now, and that fear is sitting heavy in my chest. Surround me with your protection in ways I can see and in ways I never will. Give me wisdom to take sensible precautions, and give me peace that doesn't depend on every risk being removed.
Help me not to live paralyzed by fear, but also help me listen to legitimate warning signs and reach out for help if I need it. Be my safety when I feel exposed. In Jesus' name, Amen.
