Lord, it's my heart's desire that my family would know you. At every birthday dinner and every festival I feel the distance between what they believe and what I have found in you. Let me honor them, love them well, and speak about you with gentleness when the moment comes.
Open their eyes to see the light of Jesus. Keep me faithful for as many years as this takes. In Jesus' name, Amen.
