“He arose, and came to his father. But while he was still far off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
Arise, cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches! Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift up your hands toward him for the life of your young children, who faint for hunger at the head of every street.

Father, I taught them to pray, and now they tell me they don't believe any of it. I keep wondering what I did wrong. You know what it is to love a child who walks away, and your arm is not too short to reach them.
Keep them safe wherever they are. Put people in their path who will point them back to you. Help me keep the door open, love them without conditions, and trust you with the part only you can do.
