Psalm 27:1

Two statements, each followed by a question, and the questions are not rhetorical flourishes. They are arithmetic. If the first half is true, the second half has an answer, and the answer is nobody.

Notice David does not say he is unafraid. He asks whom he would be afraid of, which is a different move. Fear needs an object. Name the thing, hold it next to what he has just said about God, and see whether it still looks the size it did.

The repetition is deliberate. He says it twice because saying it once did not settle it, which is the most reassuring detail in the verse.
