Matthew 11:28
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
The invitation names who it is for, and the qualification is being tired. Not being sorted out. Not having got on top of things. Just carrying more than you can carry.
Heavy laden is a load somebody else put on you. The verse straight after this one offers a different load rather than no load at all, which is oddly reassuring. This is not an offer of an empty life. It is an offer of a lighter one.
Notice that the rest is given, not achieved. Everything asked of you in this sentence happens in the first word.
