For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay.
Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.
But if we hope for that which we don’t see, we wait for it with patience.
The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.
Yahweh is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.

Lord, I've been praying about this for a long time and the answer hasn't come, at least not in the way or timing I hoped for. Help me keep bringing it to you instead of growing quiet or bitter in the silence. I don't fully understand the delay, but I trust it isn't neglect.
Give me patience to keep waiting well, faith to keep believing you're at work even when I can't see it, and peace that doesn't depend on the answer arriving on my schedule. In Jesus' name, Amen.
