Impatient for things to change
For the seasons that ask you to simply wait.
Also for impatient · tired of waiting · want change now · frustrated with slow progress · impatience · when will things change · can't wait any longer · restless for change · sick of waiting · wanting results now
Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope:
Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up.
Therefore let’s also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with perseverance the race that is set before us,
Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.

Lord, I want things to change faster than they are, and my impatience keeps turning into frustration with you and with my circumstances. Slow me down enough to trust the process instead of demanding the outcome right now. Help me see that growth and change usually happen slowly, in ways I can't always track day to day.
Give me endurance for the in-between, and keep me from giving up right before something shifts. Teach me to wait well instead of just waiting reluctantly. In Jesus' name, Amen.
