If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins.
He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.

Lord, I keep replaying what I did and I can’t seem to let myself off the hook, even though I know you already have. If you don’t hold this against me, help me stop holding it against myself. I confess it again, not because you need to hear it twice, but because I need to release it again.
Teach me to receive the same grace I would so easily offer someone else in my place. Let me walk forward as someone made new, not someone still paying a debt you already cancelled. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
