Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up.
Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend’s countenance.
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory.
Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Lord, I know I can't do this recovery entirely on my own, even though part of me wants to try. Bring people into my life who will walk with me honestly, who I can call on a hard day, who will ask the real questions and not just accept a surface answer. Give me the humility to actually be accountable instead of hiding my struggles out of pride or shame.
Thank you for support groups, counselors, and friends who make freedom more possible than isolation ever could. In Jesus' name, Amen.
