Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise.
Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases,
Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness.
Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.

Lord, this diagnosis has knocked the wind out of me, and I am scared of what comes next. I am not asking you for guarantees I can’t have, I am asking for your presence in every appointment, every decision, every hard conversation ahead. Give wisdom to the people caring for me and steady my heart when fear creeps in at night.
Whatever this road looks like, walk it with me, and let me feel your comfort even in the uncertainty. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
