This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into that which is within the veil;
For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay.
But if we hope for that which we don’t see, we wait for it with patience.
Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.
but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint.
The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Lord, I am still waiting on something you promised, and the delay is testing my patience more than I expected. Help me hold onto hope as an anchor even while the timeline stays unclear. You are not slow, you are simply not bound by my sense of when things should happen.
Keep me faithful in the waiting instead of bitter or checked out. I will keep hoping in you, because you have never once broken your word. In Jesus' name, Amen.
