He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
Open your mouth for the mute, in the cause of all who are left desolate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and serve justice to the poor and needy.”
Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow.”

God, I know what the right thing is, and doing it could cost me. It would be easier to stay quiet and blend in. Esther spoke up when silence was safer, and the three friends refused to bow even if you didn't rescue them.
Give me that kind of courage. Help me speak for people who can't speak for themselves, and do it with humility instead of self-righteousness. I would rather obey you than please the crowd.
