If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
“Come now, and let’s reason together,” says Yahweh: “Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.

Lord, I gave in again, and the shame is louder right now than almost anything else I feel. I don’t want to hide from you the way I want to hide from everyone else. I confess this honestly and ask you to wash it clean, not because I’ve earned it but because that is who you are.
Help me believe there is no condemnation for me in you, even when my own heart condemns me. Help me stand back up instead of staying down here in the shame. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
