I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.
Yahweh said to Moses, “Gather to me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; and bring them to the Tent of Meeting, that they may stand there with you. I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit which is on you, and will put it on them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you don’t bear it yourself alone.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens, even the God who is our salvation.
He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
David said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Don’t be afraid, nor be dismayed; for Yahweh God, even my God, is with you. He will not fail you, nor forsake you, until all the work for the service of Yahweh’s house is finished.

God, so many people are depending on me, and some nights I lie awake doing the maths on everything that could go wrong. Moses told you the burden was too heavy for him alone, and you gave him seventy people to share it. Show me who can share mine.
You carry our burdens every day. Carry this with me, and remind me that the outcome was never mine to hold. In Jesus' name, Amen.
