I need to confess something

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.
He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity. Cleanse me from my sin.
Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. Don’t throw me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit.
Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.

God, you already know what I did, and I've been avoiding you because of it. I'm done hiding. I was wrong, and I'm naming it plainly now, without excuses and without blaming anyone else.
Thank you that you promise to forgive when I confess and to wash me clean. Create a clean heart in me. Show me if there is anything I need to make right, and give me the courage to do it.
