Many seek the ruler’s favor, but a man’s justice comes from Yahweh.
Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still.”
Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun.
When they bring you before the synagogues, the rulers, and the authorities, don’t be anxious how or what you will answer, or what you will say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that same hour what you must say.”
No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.
Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are with him on the way; lest perhaps the prosecutor deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison.

Lord, I'm caught up in a legal process I don't fully understand, and so much depends on how it goes. Give my lawyers wisdom and honesty. Give the judge fairness and clear sight.
When I have to speak, give me calm and truthful words. Where there is a way to settle this peacefully, open it. Many seek a ruler's favor, but justice comes from you, so I trust you with the outcome.
